Welcome from the Headteacher

Achieving Excellence Together

On behalf of the students, staff and governors of Seaford Head School I would like to give you a very warm welcome to our website.

As the Headteacher, I am extremely proud to be a part of this outstanding school community; where staff, students and their families work in partnership to secure the very best outcomes for our young people. This strong home – school partnership along with the productive relationships the school has developed with external agencies and other institutions provides our students with the necessary support and challenge as they progress through the school.

We have a well – established track record of academic excellence and we are committed to ensuring that all our students achieve to their full potential. We are also very proud of the excellent contribution our students make to the school and the wider community. It is very important to us that our students hold strong values and are committed to social justice; Seaford Head students are kind, compassionate, high – achieving young people who are keen to make a positive impact on society. They are also serious – minded and focused on securing the ambitious targets they have set themselves for the future, confident in the knowledge that there is no limit to what they can achieve if they are determined, resilient and work hard.

The outstanding Ofsted judgment that the school received in October 2017 highlighted the excellent quality of teaching and learning and was underpinned by the strong support our students receive in terms of personal development, behaviour and welfare. Seaford Head students are inspired to develop a love of learning and really enjoy their lessons and the wide range of extra – curricular activities that enrich their education.

I hope you enjoy visiting our website and I look forward to welcoming you into our school community in the future. We always welcome feedback and we would love to hear your comments regarding our website and suggestions on how we can improve it.

Best wishes,
Bob Ellis, Headteacher
