What is our Departmental Intent?:

Our students will leave SHS with the qualifications needed for them to achieve their future aspirations.

We will execute the whole school curriculum intent, whilst satisfying the subject-specific expectations of the
National Curriculum.
Our students will develop the necessary digital literacy skills to succeed across the school-wide curriculum
and make progress throughout.
We want our students to be ambitious and develop the foundations to enable them to be discerning, lifelong learners in an ever-changing hi-tech world.
We believe that an environment where failure is accepted and used to build self-confidence, as well as
resilience.
